November 5 Kathmandu: International Youth Conclave (IYC) 2018 will be organized in Kathmandu, Nepal from 14th to 16th December 2018 with the theme of home of todays and tomorrows change makers. “The conclave is being organized as platform to increase the areas of mutual benefits in the sector of youth for better connection and economic prosperity around the globe” said chairman of the IYC 2018. The conclave is jointly organized by Setubandh and Teenagers Society of Nepal. Kathmandu Model College is the main partner of IYC 2018.
IYC 2018, looks forward to present a common dais to all the young leaders, investors, peace makers, youth activist and civil society pioneers across the globe to encourage themselves in understanding global issues and its policies, share their perspective and knowledge on their own global issues. IYC 2018 ultimate goal is to empower youth awareness on current global issues and give understanding to help in finding sustainable solution for problem. It also aims to develop one to one relationship among participant by enhancing the possibilities of achieving the SDG from the youth perspective and promoting the principal of the joint advocacy action to achieve global peace through share responsibilities.
Mr. Abhinab Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman of IYC 2018, said that conclave will have representation of youth from 32 countries signifying all continents the conclave will held for 3 days which includes 5 thematic session, 2 cultural sessions and total of 200 participants. Chairman Chaudhary has urged youth stakeholders, government and non-government agencies and tourism promotion centers to help make the conclave success.
