11 April,2017;On the Day of Chaitra Full Moon Day,South Asia Partnership -Nepal and Pragya Foundation organised a Full Moon Symposium on Children and Development.
The organizers have been organizing Symposium with various intellects,politicians,stakeholders and media persons on different issues of National Development for last four months on the occasion of full moon day.The organizers has interacted on topic of Civil Society,women and peace.
In the program organized,Founder president of CWIN Nepal presented on topic of Civil Society Perspective on Children and Development while Senior Child Literature Specialist Shant Das Manandhar spoke on Educational Perspective on Children and Development.
Children participating in the program brought their thoughts about the overall development of Children.Students spoke about the necessity of financial literacy to be included in the curriculum,necessity of child club formation in every areas,about the empowerment of girls in rural areas and girls trafficking.
The program was chaired by Former representative of UNICEF Nepal Keshav Bhakta Mathema and Executive Director of South Asia Partnership Nepal Narendra joshi highlighted on Program and Objectives.
Chairperson of Pragya Foundation Anand Aditya made his highly remarkable speech on Full Moon Symposium and the agenda of Children and Development.
The program was attended by Ex Environment Sunil Kumar Manandhar, member of parliament Lal Babu Yadav, Mp Hon.Sindhu Jalesa Budhathoki, Hon.Shanta Biswokarma, Political Analyst Ganga Thapa, Civil society leader Charan Prasai and others eminent personalities were present at program.
